Immersive storytelling has become an important feature of contemporary digital media, particularly in video games and interactive narrative environments that enable audiences to participate in fictional experiences. However, immersion cannot be explained solely through visual realism or technological sophistication; it also involves the relationship between aesthetic design, narrative structure, and meaningful interaction. This study critically examines five dimensions of immersive storytelling: visual-art integration, animation quality, game interactivity, narrative coherence, and player agency. It adopts a qualitative, analysis-based research design, drawing on secondary literature in game studies and digital-media research. The literature is examined through thematic and critical interpretive analysis to identify recurring concepts and relationships among the five dimensions. The analysis explores how visual aesthetics establish environmental atmosphere, animation communicates character emotions, interactivity enables participation, narrative coherence maintains story continuity, and player agency creates opportunities for meaningful decision-making. It conceptualizes these dimensions as interconnected elements rather than independent determinants of immersion. The study argues that effective immersive storytelling depends on the integration of aesthetic presentation, narrative development, and player participation. By bringing these dimensions together within a unified framework, the study contributes to the conceptual understanding of immersive digital narratives and offers implications for game designers and digital storytellers. Future empirical research may investigate how these dimensions operate across different game genres and audience experiences.
